I (Rachael Rawlings) have become involved in a cause that is very close to my heart. Chris and I lost our second child Daisy at 35 weeks to a rare condition known as Obstetric Cholestasis (Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy) 5 years ago. It is little known about, however recent research is now suggesting that 1 in 200 women suffer with it during pregnancy, and whilst research continues, more is always needed and that means funding! The worst case scenario is stillbirth which unfortunately happened in our case. This is a devastating and life changing experience for the entire family as you can imagine.
A support group exists in the UK for women who have suffered with the condition ICP / OC or lost baby/babies as a result of it. The group have never done any major fundraising and have until now relied totally on grants and kind donations. This is their first big event, and Rachael Rawlings being a committee member and past sufferer, I am hoping to be able to rally some support.

Entertainment: Saxophonist/ Jazz/disco/ fabulous auction - there is also a pay bar.
What : Champagne reception, followed by three course sit down meal and a couple of glasses of wine.
